Looking After Your Team’s Health And Wellbeing Guide

This NHS Wellbeing guide is aimed at helping teams in the health and care sector improve the health and wellbeing of their members through a collaborative approach. It emphasises that a healthy team not only benefits its members but also leads to better patient care. The guide is designed to be flexible, acknowledging that wellbeing varies for individuals and teams. It offers practical insights, exercises, and resources to help teams create a personalised culture of wellbeing.

NHS’s guide is broken down into 14 Key documents PLUS strategy documents; QOF Outlines etc. that go along with the guide.

The NHS believe that their guide is a simple ‘one stop shop’ to help you and your team to improve your health and wellbeing over time, through a flexible, continual, and collaborative journey. It will empower you and your team to explore and improve your health and wellbeing in an inclusive and holistic way, recognising that different people need different things at different times. It supports you to embed a team wellbeing culture for your local context.

However, NHS also warn that this guide will also develop over time, by incorporating best practice resources all in one place for you, whilst also signposting you to wider resources and tools over time as we learn together from experience.

So buckle up for the ride!
